Women and Girls Workshop

We are excited to present our Women and Girls Kick off Clinic! If you are a Female-matching player who wants to try out the sport of Ultimate, make friends, and/or improve your current skill set, this is the event for you! This clinic is open to all levels and ages 8+. Our goal is to provide opportunities for women and girls to gain confidence and try new things through the sport of Ultimate. 

What to expect: 

1. To have fun learning Ultimate frisbee (it’s okay to make mistakes)!
2. Learn/practice throwing backhand and forehand throws
3. Play games and drills that simulate Ultimate frisbee in small groups (discs and equipment provided)
4. Ultimate requires walking, jogging, sprinting, and changing direction. (If you aren’t able, you can come just to throw!)
5. Optional gathering afterwards at Twin Sisters Brewery (open to all ages)

What to bring

1. Cleats if you have them. Otherwise sneakers are okay (you just might slip!)
2. Lots of water
3. Layers!  Layers! Layers!  It's cold when you start but once you are moving you will be nice and toasty!
4. A positive attitude and readiness to make new friends!
